About [AFANTASIA]
[AFANTASIA] is a narrative exploration adventure that follows a boy as he discovers who he once was and who he will become, through distinctive pixel art, immersive music, and varied gameplay that blurs the boundaries between reality and imagination.
Having lost his memories, the boy wakes up on a pier in his hometown of Tempo, certain of only one thing: he must leave for the city.
Guided by Intrusion, a mysterious voice in his head, he relives the memories and regrets of the people in town, drawing closer to the person he used to be and the person he could become.
Who do we become when we lose everything that once defined us? Can imagination take the place of lost memories?
[AFANTASIA] is a story about confronting what makes us who we are.
